NOTIFICATION
Subject: Clarification regarding holding of two examinations in one Academic Session
Reference: Govt. Order No. 468-JK (Edu.) of 2024 dated 06-11-2024.
Whereas, the annual examinations of classes 10th, 11th and 12th were conducted in November/December 2025 instead of February–March 2026, consequent upon restoration of the Academic Session to October–November in pursuance of Government Order No. 468-JK (Edu.) of 2024 dated 06-11-2024, in respect of Kashmir Division and winter zone areas of Jammu Division / UT of Ladakh.
Whereas, the candidates who qualified their SSE (Class 10th) and HSE-I (Class 11th) examinations under Uniform Academic Calendar in Annual/Regular 2025 (February–March session) subsequently had to appear in their HSE-I (Class 11th) and HSE-II (Class 12th) examinations again in Annual/Regular 2025 (October–November session) due to restoration of Academic Session.
As a result, such candidates passed two annual examinations in a single calendar year (2025).
As such, it is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the said academic intervention shall be treated as valid for all admission, academic and professional purposes, and the following note shall be reflected in the Diplomas/Qualification Certificates as and when issued:
“Annual Regular (Feb–Mar, 2026) – Kashmir Division / Winter Zone Areas of Jammu Division held in October–November, 2025 due to restoration of Academic Session back to October–November.”
