Subject: Revision of School Timings for Government & Recognized Private Schools in Jammu Division (October–November 2025)
It is hereby ordered that the school timings for all Government and Recognized Private Schools across Jammu Division shall be regulated as under:

| Summer Zone | October 2025 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM |
| Summer Zone | w.e.f. 01-11-2025 | 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM |
| Exception: Schools within Jammu Municipal Corporation & surrounding urban areas | w.e.f. 01-11-2025 | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM |
| Winter Zone | w.e.f. 01-10-2025 | 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM |
Issued by the Directorate of School Education
All the concerned Heads of Institutions are directed to ensure strict compliance with the above timings.
Any deviation from the prescribed schedule shall invite action under rules in vogue.
