The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2026 application form, and registration for Session 1 is now open. Students can apply till November 27, 2025 at the official website.

This year, NTA has introduced some major changes in both the registration and exam pattern:
π 1. Virtual On-Screen Calculator
For the first time ever, JEE Main 2026 will include a virtual calculator on the computer screen during the exam.

You can use it for:
- Addition (+), Subtraction (β), Multiplication (Γ), and Division (Γ·)
- Square roots, percentages, and other basic math functions
π‘ This feature will help students do calculations faster and reduce silly mistakes.
The calculator will remain available throughout the exam.
π 2. Screen Magnifier
JEE Main 2026 will also include a screen magnifier tool.
Students can move their cursor over any part of the screen to zoom in and enlarge text or images for better visibility.
βοΈ 3. Accessibility Options
To make the exam more user-friendly, NTA has added a new βAccessibilityβ feature that allows you to:
- Switch between dark mode and light mode πβοΈ
- Increase or decrease font size π
- Enable a cursor trail and adjust its size for easier navigation
These options will help students personalize their test interface during the exam.

- Exam Period: January 21 to 30, 2026
- Shift 1: 9:00 AM β 12:00 Noon
- Shift 2: 3:00 PM β 6:00 PM
- The exact date, time, and exam center will be mentioned on your admit card.
