The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has issued an official notification announcing the winter working hours for all District Courts across the Kashmir Division and Union Territory of Ladakh.
The revised timings will remain in force from December 1, 2025, to March 31, 2026, as per the latest order issued by Registrar General (O), M.K. Sharma under Notification No. 3407 of 2025/RG/NG-03(I).

The new court schedule divides the working day into two sessions, with adjusted timings suitable for winter conditions in Kashmir and Ladakh.

Regular Schedule to Resume from April 2026
The notification further states that from April 1, 2026, all District Courts will revert to the standard timing pattern already prescribed under High Court Order No. 1638/NG dated May 22, 2020.
