The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has issued a crucial advisory for students awaiting their Class 10th Annual Regular results, confirming that the declaration is imminent but contingent upon a key administrative appointment.
In an official statement released late evening, the Board clarified that the results will be declared “within a few days” soon after the appointment of the new Chairman.
Results “Almost Ready” but Awaiting Approval
The Board confirmed that the evaluation process is largely complete. According to the statement, the results for the Class 10th Annual Examination for both the Kashmir Valley and the Winter Zone areas of Jammu Division are “almost ready.”
However, a procedural requirement is currently holding up the final release. The Board explained that the approval of the Result Declaration Committee, which must be headed by the BOSE Chairman, is a mandatory pre-requisite.
“In the absence of the Chairman, the results are likely to get a little delayed,” the statement read, highlighting the administrative technicality causing the wait.

Advisory Against Fake Links and Rumors
Addressing the rampant spread of misinformation, JKBOSE has strongly advised students not to pay heed to fake links and websites that are prematurely announcing the declaration of results.
The Board cautioned the student community to avoid being misled by “scamsters and fake narratives circulated by some mischievous elements,” noting that the sole aim of such entities is to create confusion among innocent students.
