India Post GDS Result 2024 Live: The merit list for the recruitment of Gramin Dak Sevak (GDS) vacancies under India Post is expected to be released Today soon. Along with the merit list, the department is expected to announce the India Post GDS Cut-Off List.

The list of applicants shortlisted for engagement will be released by the Department on its website and GDS Online Portal. Upon declaration of the results, the shortlisted candidates will be informed of the result and dates of physical verification etc, through SMS on their registered mobile number as well as through email on the registered email addresses.

The selection process for the post of Gramin Dak Sevak is primarily based on the candidates’ performance in their qualifying examination, which is the matriculation (10th standard) exam. The cut-off marks are determined by the marks obtained by the candidates in this examination. These cut-off marks will vary based on different categories such as UR (Unreserved), OBC (Other Backward Classes), SC (Scheduled Castes), ST (Scheduled Tribes), EWS (Economically Weaker Sections), PWD (Persons with Disabilities), and ESM (Ex-Servicemen).
