The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the JEE Main 2026 application form, and registration for Session 1 is now open. Students can apply till November 27, 2025 at the official website.
🔹 What’s New in JEE Main 2026?
This year, NTA has introduced some major changes in both the registration and exam pattern:
🆕 1. Virtual On-Screen Calculator
For the first time ever, JEE Main 2026 will include a virtual calculator on the computer screen during the exam.

You can use it for:
- Addition (+), Subtraction (−), Multiplication (×), and Division (÷)
- Square roots, percentages, and other basic math functions
💡 This feature will help students do calculations faster and reduce silly mistakes.
The calculator will remain available throughout the exam.
🔍 2. Screen Magnifier
JEE Main 2026 will also include a screen magnifier tool.
Students can move their cursor over any part of the screen to zoom in and enlarge text or images for better visibility.
⚙️ 3. Accessibility Options
To make the exam more user-friendly, NTA has added a new “Accessibility” feature that allows you to:
- Switch between dark mode and light mode 🌙☀️
- Increase or decrease font size 🔠
- Enable a cursor trail and adjust its size for easier navigation
These options will help students personalize their test interface during the exam.

- Exam Period: January 21 to 30, 2026
- Shift 1: 9:00 AM – 12:00 Noon
- Shift 2: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
- The exact date, time, and exam center will be mentioned on your admit card.
