- A top JKBOSE official indicated that while no specific dates have been finalized, the exams are likely to commence between February 10 and February 15, 2025.
- This move aims to conduct the exams a month earlier than the usual schedule, aligning the academic session with the November-December timeline for the next academic year.

Changes in Academic Calendar
- The change is part of the government’s effort to revert the academic session to its previous schedule of November-December, as announced earlier by the Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah.
- While the schedule for Classes 10 to 12 will be adjusted starting in 2025, Classes up to 9th standard have already been restored to the November-December session.

Omar Abdullah emphasized the importance of restoring the old academic schedule to help students resume their studies without delays. He assured that starting from 2025, the board exams will be conducted before winter vacations, realigning the education system with the pre-existing timeline.
