The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE), Jammu Division has released an important notification for all Government and Private Higher Secondary Schools falling under the Winter Zone areas of Jammu Division.
As per the notice, the Heads of Institutions must submit the Internal Assessment Awards for their eligible HSP-I (Class 11th) students — appearing in the Annual Regular 2025 Session (Winter Zone) — to their respective Sub/Branch Offices of JKBOSE Jammu Division on or before November 13, 2025, in the prescribed format.
The concerned Sub/Branch Offices are directed to compile the awards as per the Centre Notices and forward them to the Office of Assistant Secretary, Secrecy-II, Jammu Division (JD) by or before November 17, 2025.

📜 Instructions for Heads of Institutions
JKBOSE has advised all school heads to follow the below guidelines carefully to ensure timely and error-free submission of Internal Assessment Awards:
- Use Prescribed Format:
Marks must be awarded only on the official format downloadable from the JKBOSE website — www.jkbose.nic.in. - Legibility:
The awards must be neat and error-free. Cutting, overwriting, or use of whitener will not be accepted. - Absent Candidates:
Roll numbers of absent students must be clearly mentioned as “Absent.” No column or roll number should be left blank. - Submission in Duplicate:
Internal assessment awards must be submitted in duplicate, properly signed by the subject examiner(s) and duly attested by the Head of Institution. - Proper Routing:
All assessment awards must be sent through the concerned Sub/Branch Offices only. Submissions via email or post will not be accepted. - Roll Numbers:
Every assessment sheet must clearly mention the complete examination roll numbers of candidates. - Record Maintenance:
All schools (Govt./Private) must maintain a record of internal assessments (candidate-wise and subject-wise), duly signed by the concerned examiner, Examination In-charge, and HOI/Principal for future reference.
⚠️ Responsibility Clause
The notification clearly states that non-compliance or delay in submission will make the concerned Head of Institution responsible, and no request for relaxation will be entertained. Penalties will apply as per BOSE norms.
