Subject: Schedule of Annual Regular Examinations 2025 for Classes 10th, 11th, and 12th – Kashmir Division and Winter Zone Areas of Jammu Division

It is hereby notified for the information of all concerned that the Annual Regular Examinations 2025 for Classes 10th, 11th, and 12th shall commence as per the following schedule:

The official date sheets for all three classes have already been issued by the Board.

As per the Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE), approximately 95,000 students will appear in Class 10th, 82,000 students in Class 11th, and 70,000 students in Class 12th examinations during this session.

📘 Syllabus Relaxation:
The Board has granted a 15% relaxation in syllabus for all students for the current academic session. This decision was taken following recommendations from a committee headed by the Chairman, in response to multiple representations from stakeholders, to provide relief to students who experienced academic disruptions.

📚 Textbook Distribution:
The Secretary informed that by the end of November 2025, all students up to Class 8th in the Kashmir Valley and winter zone areas of Jammu Division will receive free textbooks. For the summer zones of Jammu Division, the distribution will be completed by the first week of December 2025.

❄️ Logistical Arrangements:
Adequate arrangements have been made for the smooth conduct of examinations, particularly in far-flung and cold regions. Confidential examination materials will be securely stored in local police stations to ensure safe handling and distribution.

The Secretary emphasized that the Board is committed to ensuring that students face no inconvenience during the examinations and encouraged both parents and students to demonstrate resilience and preparedness during the winter season.
