The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially commenced the annual examinations for Classes 10th and 12th today, February 15, 2025, across the region’s soft zone areas.
This significant academic event marks the beginning of a series of assessments scheduled to conclude by mid-March, aligning with the board’s revised academic calendar.
For Class 10 students, the examinations are being conducted in the evening session, starting at 1:30 PM. The first paper focuses on Additional/Optional subjects, including languages such as Arabic, Kashmiri, Dogri, Bhoti, Punjabi, Urdu, Hindi, Persian, and Sanskrit.

The subsequent examination, scheduled for February 17, 2025, will cover Social Science disciplines like History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Disaster Management, and Road Safety Education. The Class 10 examination series is set to conclude on March 19, 2025, with the Painting/Art & Drawing paper.
