JKSSB Announces 4002 Constable Posts: Application Process Begins July 30
The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has issued Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2024, dated July 15, 2024, announcing the recruitment of 4002 constable positions in the Home Department.

The application process for these posts will commence on July 30, 2024, at 10:00 AM and will close on August 29, 2024, at 10:00 PM. The receipt of fees online will follow the same timeline.
How to Apply
Candidates must submit their applications online through the official JKSSB website (www.jkssb.nic.in). No other mode of application will be accepted. Those who have not yet registered on the portal must complete a One-Time Registration (OTR) before filling out the application form.
Steps for Online Application
1. Registration: New users must create login credentials by selecting ‘New User/Sign Up’ on the JKSSB website and complete the OTR form after logging in.
2. Application Form: Fill in the required details accurately and click on ‘SAVE & CONTINUE’.
3. Document Upload: Upload a photograph (20-50 KB) and signature (10-20 KB), both sized 4.5×3.5 cm.
4. Application Fee: Pay the application fee using Net banking, Debit Card, UPI, or Credit Card by selecting the Pay Now link.
5. Final Submission: Ensure all details are correct before submitting the application. Incomplete or incorrect applications may be rejected.

Additional Instructions
Candidates must give their preferences for posts with the same examination code (Nos. 01, 02, 05, 06) and claim any benefits related to domicile or other criteria at the time of application, supported by relevant certificates. No hard copy of the application form is required, except at the stage of Document Verification for shortlisted candidates.
