SSC GD Physical Test Date: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) declared the result of the SSC GD Constable exam 2024 on July 10, 2024. As per the official SSC GD result 2024 notice PDF, a total of 3,51,176 candidates cleared the Computer-Based Exam (CBE) and have been shortlisted for the next round of the selection process, that is, Physical Efficiency Test (PET)/ Physical Standard Test (PST). Of these total candidates, 39,440 are females and 3,11,736 are males.
These shortlisted candidates must now appear for the SSC GD 2024 PET/ PST or Physical Test. The SSC GD Physical Test 2024 date has not been announced yet. The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is soon expected to announce the dates for the physical test.

What is the SSC GD Physical Test?
The SSC GD physical test ensures that the candidate is physically eligible for recruitment as Constable GD or Rifleman GD. The PET and PST exams test the physical eligibility of candidates. Have a look at the details of PET and PST tests below:
- Physical Standard Test: Candidates need to fulfil SSC GD physical requirements in terms of height, weight and chest.
- Physical Efficiency Test: Candidates need to perform a race within the given SSC GD running time.
SSC GD Running Time 2024
The SSC GD running time 2024 is 5 km in 24 minutes for male candidates and 1.6 km in 8 ½ minutes for females all over India except those belonging to the Ladakh Region. For candidates belonging to Ladakh, the GD Constable running time is 1.6 km in 7 minutes for males and 800 metres in 5 minutes for females.
