J&K Home Department Issues Tentative Seniority List of Police Gazetted Officers (Director/Special Director/Additional Director) – Order No. 536-Home of 2025
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir, Home Department, has released the Tentative Seniority List (TSL) of members of the J&K Police (Gazetted) Service in the ranks of Director, Special Director, and Additional Director under Super Time Scale-I, Level 13A (₹131100–₹216600) of the Pay Matrix.
The list has been issued through Government Order No. 536-Home of 2025, dated 11.11.2025, in accordance with Rule 10 of the J&K Police (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules, 2024 (SO 500 of 2024) and Rule 24 of J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1956.
Purpose of the Tentative Seniority List
According to the order, the seniority list is being circulated among all eligible Gazetted officers for:
- Verification of their inter-se seniority,
- Submission of representations/objections (if any), accompanied by valid documentary proof,
- Preparation of the final seniority list after the objection period ends.
