UGC NET December 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an important public notice announcing the correction facility for candidates who have applied for the UGC-NET December 2025 examination. This one-time correction window will enable applicants to modify certain details in their online application forms.
According to the notification, the correction window will remain open from 10th November 2025 (10:00 AM) to 12th November 2025 (11:50 PM).
What is UGC NET?
UGC-NET is conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian nationals for:
- Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professor
- Assistant Professor only
- Admission to Ph.D. programs in Indian universities and colleges.
Correction Window Schedule

Fields That Cannot Be Changed
Candidates will not be able to modify the following details:
- Candidate’s Name
- Gender
- Photograph
- Signature
- Mobile Number
- Email Address
- Permanent & Correspondence Address
- Examination City
Fields That Can Be Changed
The following details can be corrected during the window:
- Date of Birth
- Category
- Father’s Name
- Mother’s Name
Important Note
- No corrections will be accepted after 12th November 2025 (11:50 PM) under any circumstances.
- Any additional fee (if required) must be paid online through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
- This correction window is a one-time facility—no further chances will be given.
